| This story focuses on new evidence in the investigation of the July 2005 disappearance of honeymooner George Smith from the cruise ship Brilliance of the Seas. Four young men who had been drinking and gambling with Smith and his bride Jennifer in the hours previous to his disappearance were considered prime suspects. Includes an interview with Dr. Jerry Askins, a podiatrist whose son Josh, a college student from California, was one of them. Josh and his companions told police that they escorted a drunken Smith back to his cabin and left him on his bed and that his wife, Jennifer Hagel Smith, was nowhere to be found. | |
