How does someone Heal from Childhood Sexual Abuse?
Well like Christy Lannert and Stacey Lannert, and Deborah Underwood if abuse is not talked about it ONLY SEEMS TO GET WORSE and hurt more and more children and or peope. It hurts everyone in the family. Incest is sick! Who wants to let people know about that? Secrets use to seem like a way to AVOID the TRUTH. But the truth was always the TRUTH whether we told it to others or not. The abuse happened over and over , and over until something was done. And depending on the maturity of the Victim and coping skills, and recovery from any addictions, all are factors in how one child deals with abuse differently than the other. Can abuse victims love others in relationships?
Do alot of female victims of childhood abuse,sexual,verbal,emotional,physical abuse all included end up turning Gay or Bisexual or Using men as just sex objects? Like men traditionally us women?
Why is it ok for men to be sluts or fags? But not okay for a women to be horney or a lesbian/gay?
Gay Pride parade and picnic is coming up in June of 2008 in St.Louis,MO please come and show your support. Please come and be PROUD if you are GAY. Don't be ashamed and hide out in your safe little Closet. It is time to get honest and come out of the closet. How many of you are ready?

Surviving the Abuse is just the begining just like awareness and knowledge, and understanding what ABUSE is. There are many websites out there to educate inquiring minds. Woman's Place in Maplewood in St.Louis,MO is a great place to start. Or on Hampton Ave there is the Womens Support Services, and in Brentwood there is the YWCA sexual trauma,rape,abuse,incest counseling center.
Asking for Help is the First step in Humility.
Pride often keeps people from telling others the truth or being honest . Fear is the motivator for Pride. And Pride is one of those 7 deadly Sins, along with Gluttony,Lust,Sloth,Greed, etc...
We are all human so we all have and do Sin on a daily basis. But the answer is to sin less and less. And live and be more like Jesus and the disciples and prophets were.
Being afraid is a part of having Courage. I just feel the Fear and do what I am fearing anyway; and oddly enough I don't die from facing my fears. Actually, I usually grow and get stronger and become more like a role model who loves herself, respects herself ,her body, her sex life, her love life, her friends and even enemies. My enemies I pray the most for if I have any. Which I am sure I upset people all the time with my Assertiveness and Strong Honest Character willing to trust in God with almost everything. Lack of Faith and Fear and anger, and resentments are just my human weaknesses coming through when people get angry with me. I am not perfect.
The only Perfect one I know is GOD. There is a God and it is not ME. So, I have to surrender my WILL to God on a daily basis. And this is the prayer I say: God, I offer myself to thee, to build with me as thee will,take away my difficulties so that I may bare witness to those I would help of thy Power,the Will and Thy way Always Amen.
Well ,I hope someone can use something to help make their day or night a little brighter. Because I try to shine my little light whereever I go and with whoever God puts in my life or I cross paths with.
