Here Are the Exercises Mama June Did to Shed Those Pounds
Mama June: From Not to Hot star June Shannon has been getting her workout on and shedding the pounds with the help of fitness trainer, Kenya Crooks.
Kenya talked to Women’s Health Magazine to give some tips on how WE can get in shape just like Mama June.
“Mama June wanted to lose weight and tone up at the same time, so that was our mission,” revealed Crooks.

With that in mind, here’s how the duo worked some of the weight off.
Crooks worked out with June two to three times a week in person or via Skype. He zeroed in on her abs and focused on core moves like elbow crunches, which is bringing your knees up to meet your elbows. Crooks made her do three sets of 20! Then three sets of 20 of reaching sit ups, and Russian twists using a medicine ball (as many as June could stand). You can watch his full Mama June workout regime here!
Crooks said nutrition played a big part of Mama June’s transformation as well.
“I really stressed lean meats, vegetables, and fruits,” Crooks said, in addition to reducing her portion sizes.
