Keep it 100 - Be true to yourself

Egypt has been struggling with telling her mom, Pepa Denton, that she wants to take a year off after graduation to focus on her music career. She knows her mom isn't going to like it, but this week Egypt decided she needed to keep it 100 and told Pepa that she won't be going to college in the fall. According to Egypt, her "...heart is music" and that's what she's going to focus on.

Pepa knows all too well how hard life can be without a college education, and wasn't ready to offer her support to Egypt. This is sure to be a battle, but WE are proud of Egypt for keeping it 100!
