On the season premiere of Growing Up Hip Hop, Romeo knew that it was time to man up and face his father after the way things ended last season. Master P has worked tirelessly to build up his own empire and has been counting on his son to take over No Limit Records. During the season 2 finale, instead of making an appearance at the event which he masterminded and continuing his work at No Limit, Romeo hopped on a plane and headed out to start filming Empire.

Not only was Master P shocked that Romeo put his acting career before his music career, but he feels that Romeo let his family down by going back on his word and walking away from his responsibilities. Having started out with nothing and worked his way to the top, Master P insists that there’s no room for mistakes.

Meanwhile, Romeo doesn’t think that he did anything wrong. As far as he’s concerned, he made the best decision for himself at the time. Master P wasn’t feeling Romeo’s lack of remorse, so he took him down to the projects of New Orleans to remind him exactly where he comes from, and why there’s no room for error.
